     Ned A. Fogleman, 67, passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at his home near Mifflintown, surrounded by his loving family.

     He was born April 4, 1953 in Lewistown.

     He is survived by his wife, Sara A. (Brubaker) Fogleman, whom he married April 7, 1974, one daughter, Rebecca Meifert and husband, Keith, of Mifflintown, one son, Mark Fogleman and wife, Sadaf Kazmi, of Brookline, Mass., five grandchildren, Garrett Meifert, Macks Meifert, James Flatley, Alina Kazmi-Fogleman and Naila Kazmi-Fogleman, his father and step-mother Wayne A. and Beverly Fogleman of Reedsville, brother, Kip Fogleman, niece, Laurel, and his “favorite” brother-in-law, Terry Linn and wife, Sue.

     He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma (Bonson) Fogleman.

     Ned graduated in 1971 from Kishacoquillas High School.

     He and Sara were life-long dairy farmers. He had a passion for Allis Chalmers tractors and Jersey Cattle. Ned was also a sales representative for Fertrell.

     Ned loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. “Pap” enjoyed attending baseball and soccer games, looked forward to Face Time visits and the mini vacations the grandchildren had at his home.

     He was a very giving man who cared about people and who was always helping someone by giving fresh summer fruits and vegetables to family and friends, giving friends a phone call or words of encouragement to young people pursuing agricultural careers.

     He had a love for dogs, having had many during his lifetime. Currently surviving are his “Big Dog” Baron and “little boy” Crook.

     His funeral will be private with Pastor Jay Deiter officiating. Interment in Adams Cemetery, Mifflintown, will be at the convenience of the family.

     The family will provide all flowers. Contributions in memory of Ned may be made to Pets Come First, 2451 General Potter Hwy, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
