Pamela J. (Haynes) Bruce

     Pamela J. Bruce, 64, of Mifflintown, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at her home with her loved ones.

     Born Aug. 14, 1959, in Arlington, Va., she was a daughter of the late Charles “Reject” and Doris (Kirby) Haynes.

     She is survived by her husband, Robert M. Bruce, one son, Christopher Bruce and wife, Erin, of Mifflintown, one daughter, Catherine Bruce of Lehigh Acres, Florida, her only surviving sister, Terry Aurand and husband, Brian, one precious granddaughter, Alexa, three fantastic step-grandchildren, Aerianna, Katelynn and Steven, and many nieces and nephews and their families.

     She was preceded in death by one brother, Chuck in 2008 and one sister, Ruth in 2009.

     Pam worked at the Navy Depot in Mechanicsburg for nearly 36 years before retiring in October 2014 from the Ammunition Department, managing various types of munitions, which led to many friends across the world.

     She enjoyed going to the ocean and camping. The most important thing to her was her family.

     Her wish was to be cremated and have the family celebrate her life privately.
