     Bradford J. "Buck" Beward, Jr., 72, of Mifflintown, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

     Born Nov. 26, 1945, he was a son of the late Bradford J. and Margaret I. (Hostler) Beward, Sr.

     He is survived by five siblings, Suzanne "Bunny" Woodward and husband, Sonny, Brenda K. "Benny" Beward, Mary Ann "Bonny" Kahley and husband, Carl, Belinda "Boots" Weimer, Bob Beward, Sr., and Billy B. Beward, and wife, Brenda J., and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

      He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Linda Lou Beward on May 9, 1948 and a nephew, Franklin "Boo" Woodward.

     He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce.

      Bucky was a machinist at overhead door and enjoyed fishing, horseshoes, and  watching football and wrestling. He loved his family and spending time with them.

     His service will be private and held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Jimmy Niemond officiating.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, PA 17059 who has care of the arrangements.
