William "Bill" Lloyd Schoffstall Sr.

     William L. “Bill” Schoffstall, Sr., 59, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022 at his home in East Waterford.

     Born June 19, 1963, in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Russell M. “Pop” and Anna May (Baughman) Demmy.

     He is survived by his wife, Crystal G. (Beward) Schoffstall, whom he married Sept. 25, 2009, children, William L. “Bill” Schoffstall, Jr. and wife, Bobbi Jo, of Mifflin, Shawna Ridley of Frostburg Maryland, and our boy Troy Daniel of East Waterford, step-children, Aaron Beward of Mifflintown, Travis Beward of Pittsburgh, Codey Beward of Honey Grove, and Skyler Sassaman and fiancée, Gabby Briggs, of Beavertown, and two grandchildren, Jayden Beward and Rin Sassaman.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles “Chuck” Schoffstall, Sr.

     Bill delivered produce for Santanna Banana Company.

     He enjoyed fishing. He loved spending time with his family and especially having picnics with them.

     A gathering of family and friends to remember Bill’s life will be held on Sunday, Nov. 13 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Lack-Tuscarora EMS, 9320 Route 75 S, East Waterford. There will be no viewing.

     In lieu of flowers, a contribution to help with Bill’s final expenses may be made to Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, PA 17059, who is assisting with the services.
