Richard "Rick" L. Blose

     Richard L. “Rick” Blose, 66, of Milroy, went to be with Jesus, on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2022, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

     Born Dec. 24, 1955, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Robert and Thelma (Miller) Blose.

     He is survived by one son, Lance C. Blose, and his girlfriend, Synterse Yocum, one granddaughter, Aviana Grace Blose, his companion, Sharon Bender, and four siblings, Betty Frymyer, Tammy Treaster, Robert Blose and wife, Mary, and Tim Blose and wife, Cindy.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kyle Blose.

     He graduated from Lewistown High School.

     He installed fiberoptics and he enjoyed working at Jimmy X’s junkyard.

     He was a person who enjoyed simple things--being in nature, walking in the park, taking rides through the mountains, and especially spending time with his family.

     There will be a visitation with the casket closed from 12:30p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, followed by his funeral at 1:30 p.m. at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown. Interment will be in Mount Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.
