Randy S. Hunt

     Randy S. Hunt, 65, of York Haven, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.

     Born Oct. 25, 1958, in York, he was a son of the late Norman and Anna (Stauffer) Hunt.

     He is survived by his wife, Tena (York) Hunt, whom he married Feb. 21, 1981, two children, Christina Weiandt and husband, Jason, of York Haven and Skyler Hunt and wife, Abby, of Carlisle, and five grandchildren, Zhara Mae Miller, Hunter Miller, Lucas Weiandt, Timothy Weiandt, and Graham Hunt.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Banks Hunt and a granddog, Dale.

     Randy was a self-employed business entrepreneur which included an owner/operator role at Chick-fil-A.

    He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church of Dover.

     He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports and activities and loved spending time with family and friends including at the cabin. He was an avid fan of Duke University men’s basketball, the LA Lakers, and the Golden State Warriors.

     His funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Nook, 15275 Rt 35 S, Mifflin with Pastor Abby Leese officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.

     There will be a viewing from 1 p.m. until the time of the services Wednesday at the church.

     A Celebration of Life will be held in York County at a later time.
