Joey G. Yohn

     Joey G. Yohn, 48, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at his home near Mifflintown.

     Born May 3, 1974 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Gary and Barbara (Kingsboro) Yohn, Sr.

     He is survived by his wife, Susan R. (Varner) Yohn, whom he married Sept. 28, 1996, one daughter, Mackenzie L. Yohn, one sister, Kristy Fegley, his parents-in-law, Bob and Donna Varner and his cat, Lucy.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Yohn, Jr.

     Joey graduated from Juniata High School in 1992.

     He did autobody work for several local garages, was a tool repairman for Hilti in Middletown, and currently worked for Alltrista in Milroy.

     At one time he was a volunteer with East Waterford Fire Co. and presently volunteered with Friendship Fire Company, Port Royal.

     He enjoyed woodworking and trains, watching Scooby Doo, Bugs Bunny, Looney Tunes, SpongeBob and The Loud House, going to Def Leppard concerts, and going on family vacations in the Outer Banks.

     There will be a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 11 at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown with his funeral at 11 a.m. with Rev. Graham Fowler officiating. Interment will be in East Waterford Cemetery.
