Edward C. Weiand

     Edward C. Weiand, 84, of McAlisterville, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, at his home.

     Born Sept. 15, 1939 in Arch Rock, he was a son of the late, Verne and Frances Matilda “Tilly” (Yetter) Weiand.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Samuel William Weiand, Sr. and Harry C. Weiand, Sr. and one sister, Alice M. Benner, and is survived by nieces and nephews.

     He worked at a pallet shop and for Harry Shellenberger Fruit Farms.

     He was a member of Fayette Fire Co. and enjoyed hunting, fishing and going for walks.

     There is no service scheduled at this time.

     Guss Funeral Home, Inc., Mifflintown, is assisting the family with the cremation arrangements.
