Donald A. Palm, 78, of McCoysviille, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born Jan. 27, 1945, he was a son of the late Daniel and Beulah Palm.
He is survived by four children, Karen Palm of Port Royal, Donald J. Palm and wife, Becky, of McAlisterville, Daniel L. Palm of Mifflintown, and Connie M. Palm of Mifflintown, three sisters, Ruthann Noss, Nettie Huffman, and Joy Geedy, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Palm, an infant twin brother, and his former wife, Alice (Elder) Palm.
He graduated from Juniata Joint High School in 1964 and retired from Empire Kosher Poultry.
He attended Church of God Prophecy at Maze.
Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading his Bible, and doing crossword puzzles and cryptograms. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 2, at Church of God Prophecy, Maze with Rev. Dan Rockwell officiating. Interment will be in McCoysville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
The only viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 1 at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown. There will not be a viewing at the church.
