Darwin Lewis Nace

    Darwin Lewis Nace, 81, of Mifflintown, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at his home.

    He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jessie Nace; two sons, Rodney Nace of Bethleham, Patrick Nace and wife Bettyann of Mifflintown; a daughter, Joan Foltz and husband Dan of Mifflintown; a sister, Linda Clark and husband Gerald of Mifflintown; a sister-in-law, Carole Nace of Harrisburg.

        He was preceded in death by his parents Maxwell and Margaretta Varnes Nace; a brother, Richard Nace; a sister, Joann Rush.

   He was a graduate of Juniata Joint High School, Class of 1958.  He was a member of the Juniata County VFW Teener Baseball team which were state champions and 3rd in the nation.  His favorite past times were hunting and fishing.

        Memorial services will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, Mifflintown on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM.  Visiting with the family will be from 9:30-11:00 AM at the church. 

        The family will provide flowers.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Geisinger Hospice, 74 Schoolhouse Road, Suite 104, Danville, PA 17821 or Juniata County Food Pantry, 114 North Main Street, PO Box 44, Mifflintown, PA 17059.
