Carole A. Swailes

     Carole A. Swailes, 69, of Honey Grove, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

     She was born May 1, 1952.

     She is survived by four children, Randall Beward and wife, Samantha, of Mifflintown, Roseanna Sassaman of Mifflin, Crystal Schoffstall and husband, Bill, of East Waterford, and Barry M. Beward and wife, Jung Mi of Las Vegas, NV, one sister, Judy Zimmerman of Mexico, Pa., one step-brother, Harry James Watts and wife, Arlene, of Mifflintown, 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

     She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Morris Swailes, her mother, Hope Elaine (Geedey) Swailes Watts, her step-father, Harry E. Watts, and two sisters, Bonnie Hall and Wendy Hosler.

     She attended Juniata Joint High School and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

     Carole loved her family and enjoyed crocheting and fishing.

     Following her wishes, she is being cremated and there will be no service.
