Winifred I. “Winnie” Berrier, 80, of Mifflintown, formerly of East Waterford and McAlisterville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
Born August 26, 1940, she was a daughter of the late John N. and Ethel J. (Krugh) Berrier.
She is survived by her fiancé, Don Miller of Concord, one son, Timothy E. Berrier and fiancé, Amanda Gilbert, of Carlisle, one sister Delores Brechbill of Chambersburg, two brothers, Joseph Berrier and wife, Connie, of East Waterford and Gerald Berrier and wife, Tina, of McAlisterville, two grandchildren, Tyler Lee Berrier of South Dakota and Abigail Irene Berrier of Port Royal, and three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Braylee, and Blake.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Berrier in 1969, two sisters, Alberta Rosenberry and Anna Johnson, and two brothers, John Berrier and Harold Berrier.
She was a waitress in Fannettsburg and a seamstress at East Waterford Textiles and at Lyon Fashions.
Winnie enjoyed cooking and the comfort of her home. She especially loved her grandchildren and spending time with Don and her family.
Her memorial service and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
