William J. Parker, Sr.

     William J. “Bill” Parker, Sr. 75, of Mifflintown, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021, at his home.

     Born June 10, 1945 in Queens, NY, he was the only child of William J. and Mary (Dowdell) Parker.

     He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jo Ann C. (Barnes) Parker, whom he married June 7, 1997, six children, William J. Parker, Jr. and wife, Deborah, Kevin Parker and wife, Jill, Jeanette Speese and husband, Chris, Brian Parker, John Parker, and Erin Raub and husband, Justin, two step-children, Jeremy Dudley and significant other, Val Cox, and Julie Knisely and husband, Art, twenty grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

     He retired from Carnation Foods.

     Bill enjoyed going to the beach and taking his boat to Raystown. He also loved animals.

     His service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
