Warren “Junior” L. Ranck Jr, 72, of Mifflintown, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born March 31, 1948 in New Jersey, to the late Warren L. Ranck, Sr. and Lorette M. (George) Ranck.
He is survived by his wife, Mary A. (Swartz) Ranck, whom he married April 2, 1966.
Also surviving are children, Pamela C. Sheets and companion, Robert, of New York, Warren L. Ranck III and companion, Melodye, of McClure, Pattie A. Brenneman and husband, Robert, of Mifflintown, Rebecca S. McNaight and husband, Brian, of Lewistown and Robin J. Hile and husband, Randy, of Mifflintown. Two brothers, Harold Ranck of Mexico and Steven Ranck of Mifflintown, six sisters, Brenda Kepler of McAlisterville, Diane Fry and Linda Wagner, both of Mifflintown, Doris Mingle and Sherry Wagner, both of Thompsontown, and Laurie Gray of Port Royal; seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Devan Shoemaker.
Junior was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed attending dirt track races. He also loved spending time with his family and friends, as well as, his dog “Buddy”. He retired in 2013 after many years working in the construction field for JD Eckman as a roller operator and prior to that, he worked for Jay Fulkroad & Sons.
Junior attended Mexico Full Gospel Church of Mifflintown.
Per Junior’s wishes, there will be no public services. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
