Timothy L. "Tim" Foltz, 74, of Walnut, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born May 2, 1951 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late John M. and Virginia A. (Woodward) Foltz.
He is survived by three children, Adam J. Foltz, Jaclyn M. Foltz-Bralj, and Jessica A. Zook, one brother, J. Steven Foltz (Kathy), one sister, Sharon Long (Robert) and three grandchildren, Bennie, Madeleine, and Amelia.
Tim graduated from Juniata Joint High School in 1969 and attended Lock Haven University.
He was a toolmaker at Tyco Electronics and also was the Juniata County Jury Commissioner for many years.
He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 124 of Licking Creek, Juniata Valley Council Scouting America, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Juniata County Fair Association, Port Royal Speedway, the Juniata County Republican Party, and he volunteered with the Beale Township Fire Company.
He enjoyed woodworking, leather work, cooking, working on various vehicles, watching Sci-Fi movies, and volunteering with various organizations and the church.
His family will receive friends and family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, at Guss Funeral Home, 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown and on Tuesday, Jan. 27 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 15275 Rt 35 S, Mifflin, PA 17058 with a Boy Scouts of America Broken Arrow Ceremony at 11 a.m. followed by his funeral at the church with Rev. Sam Leister officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Nook.
In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make a contribution in memory of Tim to Seven Mountains Scout Camp, 227 Sand Mountain Road, Spring Mills, PA 16875.
