Thomas E. Bryner, Sr., 81, of Mifflintown, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, at his home.
He was born July 19, 1942, in Juniata County.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Julie A. (Heimbach) Bryner, whom he married May 1, 1982, three children, Jeffrey G. Bryner and wife, Robin of Mifflintown, Vicki L. Ehrenzeller of McAlisterville, and Kelly E. Bryner of Drexel Hill, eight grandchildren, Kevin Bryner, Erin Miexel, Kimberly Bryner, Jenna Bryner, Jessee Bryner, Autumn Specht, Hannah Bryner, and Charlie Bryner, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Bryner, his mother, Gene (Hubler) Boas, one son, Thomas E. Bryner, Jr. and one brother, Forest E. Bryner.
Tom was a long-haul truck driver, last working for Camel Express.
His life-long passion was racing, both as a driver and as a spectator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a life member of the Juniata Co. Sportsmen’s Assoc. He owned many dogs over the years and loved them all.
His service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
