Susan (Sanders) Page, 72, of Mifflintown, passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024.
Born May 6, 1952 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Marvin Leroy and Mary Elizabeth (Gingrich) Sanders.
She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Milton H. Page, Jr., whom she married Nov. 16, 1974, two daughters, Rachel Love and husband, Joe, of Williamsport, MD and Karen Winterich and husband, Dave, of State College, one brother, Tracy Sanders and wife, Mary, of Mifflintown, one sister-in-law, Linda Sanders, of Mechanicsburg, four grandchildren, Nathan Love, Natalie Love, Page Winterich and Trevor Winterich.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jeff Sanders.
Sue graduated from Mansfield State University with a degree in elementary education and taught kindergarten for many years at Tuscarora Valley and Thompsontown-Delaware Elementary schools.
She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and was a youth group leader.
She enjoyed sewing, baking, walking, biking, and was a former 4-H leader and Girl Scout leader. Most of all, she loved her family and being with them.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Pastor Mindy Petrovcic officiating. Interment will follow in Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown.
Although there will be no viewing, the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the services Friday at the church.
