Savannah Esther Zook, 12, of Mifflin, Pa. went to be with Jesus on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in the comfort of her home.
She was born on October 4, 2012, to Kenny M. and Melissa Zook. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers, Kade and Tanner and her sister, Callie, paternal grandparents, Norman and Esther Zook of Mifflin, Pa., maternal grandmother, Becky Beachy of Plain City, Ohio, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandpa, Mark Beachy.
Savannah was born with a genetic disorder and could never walk or talk, but she was such a joy and a gift to her family. Her smiles and giggles were so heartwarming. Her favorite things were being cuddled and loved on by her family, being outside and waving her pompom. Her sweetness impacted so many lives and the gaping hole she leaves in our hearts is incredible. We are happy because we know she is the happiest she has ever been because she’s in the presence of Jesus, her heavenly Father.
Her viewing will be Tuesday evening, Aug. 26, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Valley View Amish Mennonite Church, 110 Applehouse Road, Belleville. The funeral will be at the same location on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at the Locust Grove Cemetery, Belleville.
For any one who desires, memorial contributions may be made to Central Pennsylvania Clinic, 375 S. Kish St., Belleville, PA 17004.
