Sara Jane (Wagner) Yorks

     Sara (Wagner) Yorks, 79, of Mifflintown, died Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

     Born Jan. 4, 1944, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Rebecca (Barefoot) Wagner, Sr. Her husband, John O. Yorks, Jr., died on July 16, 2017.

     She is survived by three sons, Randy Yorks of Mifflintown, John Yorks and wife, Susan, of Richfield, and Dave Yorks and wife, Annette, of Mifflintown, a sister, Margaret Lowrey of Mifflintown, her twin sister, Rebecca O’Donnell of Mifflintown, three grandchildren, Randall Yorks, Jr. and wife Kristalyn, Sasha Yorks and companion, Ryan, and Chelsy Amtower and husband, Dustin, and three great-grandchildren, Addison Yorks, Waylon Amtower, and Archer Rowles.

     In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Colt Yorks and one brother, Clayton Wagner, Jr.

     She retired from Empire Kosher Poultry.

     Her graveside memorial service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown.
