Roy E. “Jake” Page, 74, of Mifflin, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at the VA Medical Center in Pittsburgh.
Born Nov. 23, 1947, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Leroy Elwood and Stella (Murphy) Page.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy E. (Markle) Page, six step-children, Kate Dillensnyder of Port Royal, Sam Klinger and wife, Zina, of Mifflintown, Teresa Baker of Elizabethtown, Janet “Jen” Amrhein and husband, Mark, of Port Royal, Mindy Lauver and husband, Jeff, of McAlisterville, and Crystal Novak of Mifflin, one sister, Dorothy Yorks and husband, John, of Mifflin, one granddaughter, five step-granddaughters, seven step-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Heather Page, an infant son, a brother at birth, and one sister, Kathryn Bell.
He was a veteran, proudly serving in the United States Air Force.
Jake was a member of the Juniata Co. Sportsmen’s Assoc. and enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching western movies and especially spending time with his family.
Honoring his wishes, he is being cremated and there will be no service.
