Ronald G. Dunkle, 90, of Dillsburg, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 29, at his home.
Born Aug. 19, 1933 in Waynesboro, he was the only child of the late Ross N. and Mabel (Ryder) Dunkle.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy Jean (Heimbaugh) Dunkle, whom he married Sept. 29, 1956, four children, Karen Brouse and husband, David, Dean Dunkle, Dale Dunkle and wife, Tina, and Dwight Dunkle and wife, Catherine, ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Retiring from Penn Dot in 1986, he was a Surveyor Tech 2.
He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, and traveling, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
His service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
