Roberta "Bobbie" A. (Sarver) Swartz

     Roberta A. “Bobbie” Swartz, 58, of Mexico, passed away Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

     Born July 24, 1963 in Lewistown, she is a daughter of Harold E. Sarver of Newport and the late Emma Lou (Kreider) Sarver.

     She is also survived by her daughter, Denise Deckman and fiancé, Ralph Snyder, of Carlisle, her partner, Sharon Bowman of Mexico, sister and brothers, Donna McNaughton of Thompsontown, Charles Sarver of McAlisterville and James Sarver of Newport, four grandchildren, Daisy Deckman and husband, Hunter Spade, Charles Deckman III and girlfriend, Chloe Wert, Keith Deckman and Desirea Swartz, one great-granddaughter, Emma Snook, and nieces and nephew, Louann McNaughton and partner, Michael Graybill, Cheyenne Sarver, and Joseph McNaughton Jr. and wife, Angelina.

     Before becoming disabled, Roberta worked at the Weis Market Deli in Newport. She was very active as a fire police for local fire companies. She last volunteered with Mifflin Fire Co. where she served as vice-president and also as secretary for Fireman’s Relief as well as being active on the Bingo and Fundraising committees.

     She was a Penn State fan and enjoyed fishing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

     Her memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
