Robert R. “Ham” Hackenberger, 70, of Thompsontown, passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, at his home.
Born Oct. 29, 1950, he was a son of the late Robert R. and Mary (Ort) Hackenberger, Jr.
He is survived by his companion of 42 years, Judy A. Kauffman, two sons, Robert R. “Tink” Hackenberger IV and companion, Rhonda Bell, of Mexico and Gary R. Kauffman and wife, Amy, of Ephrata, one sister, Diane Cameron and husband, Jim, of Port Royal, one brother, Boyd Hackenberger of Mifflintown, three grandchildren, Kala Smith and husband, Mike, Drew Hackenberger and companion, Tori Kuhns, and Cierra Kauffman, and three great-grandchildren, Jacee Price, Heeth Smith, and Willow Hackenberger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Hackenberger.
He was a steelworker, working at Standard Steel for 43 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trips to the beach.
There will be no public service.
