Robert D. "Bob" Cameron, 89, died Dec. 17, 2021, at his home in Lewistown.
Born Jan. 5, 1933 in Thompsontown, he was a son of the late James and Margaret (Sieber) Cameron.
His companion, Wanda Benner, died on Feb. 20, 2002. After her death, he continued to live with her two sons, Randy and Shane Benner, who survive. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Pinko and Audrey Guyer and two brothers, Marvin Cameron and Lyle Cameron.
Bob was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He was a plumber at the Harrisburg State Hospital and a member of the Mifflintown VFW.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching baseball, picking wild berries in the summer and making daily runs to the local restaurants.
His graveside service and interment at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Thompsontown with Rev. Randy Traxler officiating will be private.
