Robert Harvey Kaegel, 96, passed away peacefully in his home of natural causes and went to walk with his Friend and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, December 18, 2020. He was surrounded by family and loving caretakers.

One grandchild, Andrew Kaegel, preceded him in death.
Bob graduated from the Thompsontown High School where he met his future wife, Millie. He served in the Army in Company C, 2nd Infantry Regiment during WWII from 1943-1946. He performed various duties both in the USA, and in Germany, where he arrived on the eve of VE day. He was a member and Past Master of the Tennis Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
His membership and participation in Emmanuel Lutheran Church was his lasting love. He served on the Church Council both as a member and as President. In his later years, he spoke frequently of his walks and talks with Jesus. We know he looked forward to moving to his heavenly home.
