Reta A. (Rauch) Dressler

     Reta (Rauch) Dressler), 73, of Mifflin, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

     Born July 12, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Walter L. and Helen M. (Criley) Rauch.

     She is survived by her husband, Harold E. Dressler, Jr., whom she married Nov. 3, 1995, and four children, Ronald W. Dreese, Jr. and wife, Serena, Jarred Dressler and wife, Jennifer, Matthew Dressler and Britney Dressler. She was blessed with grandchildren, Stephanie Walker and husband, Merlow, Zachary Dreese, Malena Dressler, Jyi Dressler, and Ember Dreese and great-grandchildren Josh Lugo, Brian Kuhn, Xzavier Rivera,and  Aaliyah Walker. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Marg Kahley, Carl Rauch, David Rauch, and Ruby Adair, her sister-in-law, Hazel Rauch whom she loved as a sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Matthew Dreese and Emmett Dressler, and brothers and sisters, Bertha Fultz, Walter Rauch, Sr., Leon Rauch, Ethel Hepner, Gary Rauch, and Janet Otte.

     Reta worked at Century 21 for 15 years before retiring.

     She enjoyed puzzles, collecting knickknacks, baking and taking care of her home. She especially loved her family.

     There will be a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 14 at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third Street, Mifflintown with her funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Landis officiating Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Union Memorial Gardens, Mifflintown.

      In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third Street, Mifflintown, PA 17059 to help defray the final expenses.
