Ralph K. Bomberger, 87, formerly of Lebanon, Pa., passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at his home outside of Port Royal.
Born Dec. 12, 1932, in Lebanon, Pa., he was a son of the late Harry and Margaret (Klick) Bomberger.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine (Spangler) Bomberger, whom he married May 5, 1956, seven children, David Bomberger and wife, Kim, John Bomberger and wife, Sally, Tom Bomberger, Mark Bomberger and wife, Dianne, James Bomberger and wife, Lisa, Daniel Bomberger and wife, Denise, and Sarah Bargo and husband, Scott, fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by nine siblings and a daughter-in-law, Cynthia Bomberger.
Ralph loved farming and was a farmer all his life.
He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Korea for eighteen months. He entered the service on Dec. 14, 1953 and was discharged on Nov. 22, 1955.
He attended A New Beginning Community Church.
A private graveside service and interment will be held at New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal, at the convenience of the family with Rev. Frank Swartz officiating.
