Peter L. Plant, 57, of Port Royal, passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at Select Specialty, Danville.

     He was born June 4, 1964, in Muncy.

     He is survived by his mother, Thelma (Laurenson) Plant, of Port Royal, one sister, Becky Murphy and husband Roy, of Mifflintown, and a nephew, Ty Murphy.

     He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Robert J. Plant and one brother, Robert J. Plant, Jr.

     Pete worked for PSI where he tested concrete and soil density.

     He was a member of Port Royal United Methodist Church.

     He enjoyed watching sports and he loved to spend time with his family, especially with his nephew, Ty.

     His memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, at Port Royal United Methodist Church, corner of Market and Fifth Streets, Port Royal,  with Pastor Crystal Baumgardner officiating. Interment will be in New Church Hill Cemetery. There will be no viewing.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
