Nancy Ann House

     Nancy A. House, 64, formerly of McAlisterville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Brookline Village, Mifflintown.

     Born January 24, 1961 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Richard I. “Pete” and Dorothy Mae (Dobbins) House. Also preceding her in death was one brother, Richie House.

     She is survived by one brother, Charles “Chuck” Dobbins and wife, Naketa “Nikki”, one sister, Wendy Hackenberger and husband, Steve, two nephews, Adam Hackenberger and wife, Kirsten, and Wesley Hackenberger and wife, Abby, as well as a great-niece and a great-nephew, Isla and Lane Hackenberger.

     Nancy graduated from East Juniata High School.

     She was a member of Lost Creek Presbyterian Church where she served as the liaison and volunteer with the Juniata County Food Pantry.

     She was an artist who enjoyed creating greeting cards, drawing, and painting. She also enjoyed playing cards and games. Her favorite times were spent with her family who loved her dearly.

     There will be a private graveside committal service and interment at Lost Creek Presbyterian Cemetery with Rev. Graham Fowler officiating at the convenience of the family.

     In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who desire to please consider making a memorial contribution to the Juniata County Food Pantry, PO Box 44, Mifflintown, PA 17059 or the Lost Creek Presbyterian Church, PO Box 91, McAlisterville, PA 17049.
