Mildred E. “Milly” Hostler, 94, passed away Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at Brookline Village, Mifflintown.
Born Aug. 11, 1925, in McAlisterville, she was the daughter of the late Lester A. and Anna A. (Gilbert) Gingrich. Her husband, Franklin Hostler, passed away on June 20, 1983.
She is survived by four daughters, Leslie A. Lennon and husband, Larry, of Pittsburgh, Lana K. Hostler of Port Royal, Susan L. Sieber and husband, Matthew, of Mifflintown, and Lisa F. Sneath and husband, Vince, of Pittsburgh, her companion, James Yetter of Mifflintown, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Annabelle Ryan.
Milly was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Mifflintown, and Mifflin Chapter #260 Order of the Eastern Star.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and baking, but the most important thing in her life was her family and she loved being with them.
Her graveside service and interment will be at 2 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Union Cemetery, Mifflintown, with Vicar Samuel J. Leister officiating. There will be no viewing.
