Mary Jane (Habbershon) Krepps

   Mary Jane Krepps, 88, of Port Royal, formerly of Burnham, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020, at her home.

     Born October 21, 1931, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late John and Martha (Patton) Habbershon.

     She is survived by four children, Martha Stouffer of Port Royal, Glenn Krepps and wife, Patricia, of Stafford, Va., Nancy Yoder and husband, Ray, of Reedsville, and Shirley Lepley and husband, Ronald, of Lewistown; one brother, John Henry Habbershon; ten grandchildren: Carrie Jo Roe (Jeff Plank), Glenn Erb (Connie), Jennifer Walczak (Doug), Christina Dull (Rob), Elizabeth Krepps, Colleen Keenan (John), Diana Zimmerman (Mike), Emily Crunkleton (Josh), Amy Fensterbush Yocum (Bill), and Michelle Lepley; fourteen great-grandchildren: Dakotah Roe, Wyatt Erb, Jack, Riley, and Julia Dull; Olivia, Madilynn, Brooke, and Lucas Walczak; Ella and Levi Zimmerman; Kinsley and Kendyll Yocum; Jayla Lepley; one great-great-grandson Malakai Roe, and many nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorraine Newlin and Helen Bernheisel, one son-in-law, Charlie Stouffer, and her companion, Ken Grove.

     She graduated from Burnham High School and was a waitress at various local restaurants and a presser at Scotty’s Fashions.

     She was a member of the Juniata Valley Quilt Guild, the Port Royal United Methodist Church, and a former member of Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church, Lewistown.

     She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, reading, playing cards and board games, wintering in Florida and camping. Her family was very special to her.

     Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept.13, at the Port Royal United Methodist Church with Pastor Fred Snyder, officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
