Mary Ethel (Nace) Zeiders

     Mary Ethel Zeiders, 90, of Mifflintown, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Geisinger-Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

     She was born on Feb. 9, 1930 near Richfield.

     She is survived by three children, Linda B. Zimmerman and husband, Richard R., of Mifflintown, Jane M. Taylor and husband, James C., of Kingsland, Ga., and Dennis H. Zeiders and wife, Diane “Cookie”, of Mifflintown, two sisters, Dorothy Cramer of Carlisle and Ella Goodling of Richfield, two brothers, Glenn A. Nace of East Salem and Donald Nace, Jr. of Lewistown, five grandchildren, Michelle Taylor, Benjamin Taylor, Richard Zimmerman, Jr., Michael Zimmerman, and Destiny Zeiders, four great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, George Albert and Frances M. (Berkiheiser) Nace, an infant daughter, Cindy Zeiders, three sisters, Cathryne Mull, Anna Mae Duke, and Marie Strauser, and one brother, Johnny Strauser.

     Mary worked at Fisher Electronics and as a hostess at Stop 35 Restaurant.

     She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and volunteered with Juniata County Meals on Wheels.

     She enjoyed cooking, reading, traveling and watching birds and she loved to spend time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

     There will be a memorial service scheduled at a later time.
