Margaret "Peg" C. (Frontz) Fike

     Margaret C. “Peg” Fike, 93, of Mifflintown, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

     Born June 10, 1926, in Monroe Township, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Dewey and Sara "Sally" (Watts) Frontz. Her husband, Paul E. Fike, whom she married Feb. 17, 1951, died Nov. 16, 1974.

     She is survived by two children, Frank Fike of Mifflin and Brenda F. and husband, R. Michael Blakey, of Lewistown, one grandson, Matthew Corkins, one great-grandson, Kegan Corkins, and one sister, Ruth Dietz of Richfield.

     She was preceded in death by two brothers, Sylvester Frontz and Russell Frontz.

     She worked for the American Viscose Corporation and was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

     Peg loved her number books, knitting dishcloths, playing pinochle, and the Phillies.

     Her graveside service and interment in New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal, will be private with Pastor Denise Haskins officiating.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 109 N. Third Street, Mifflintown, PA 17059 or to the Mifflin-Juniata Area Agency on Aging, 249 W. Third Street, Lewistown, PA 17044.
