Margaret "Marg" J. Arnold

     Margaret J. “Marg” Arnold, 80, of Mifflintown (Arch Rock) died Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

     Born Oct. 6, 1941, in Mifflin County, she was a daughter of the late Harry J. and Vada Mae (Traxler) Fultz.

    She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Stephen E. Arnold, Sr., whom she married Aug. 14, 1961, two sons, Stephen E. Arnold Jr. and wife Stephanie, and Todd A. Arnold and wife Cheryl, daughter-in-law, Joedy Arnold, brothers and sisters, Herbert Richard Fultz and wife Brenda, Clyde “Doodle” Fultz and wife Lonna, Melvin Fultz, Rick Fultz and wife Cindy, Donna Goss and husband Robert and Connie Goodling and husband Arthur “Sooner” Jr, four grandchildren, Jamie Knox and husband, Matt, Cody Arnold, Mary Arnold and Shane Arnold and wife, Christian, five great-grandchildren, Ayden Brannan, Quentin Arnold, Kalani Knox, Azariah Knox, and Zamiyah Knox, and her canine friend, Millie

     She was preceded in death by one son, Richard B. Arnold and one granddaughter, Hilary Arnold.

     She worked as a seamstress for Arrow Shirt Co.

     The most important thing in her life was her family and she loved them dearly.

     Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 25, at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, with Rev. Kenneth Grove officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Mifflintown.

     There will be a viewing Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
