Margaret "Maggie" B. (Wyland) Dodson

     Margaret B. “Maggie” (Wyland) Dodson, 83, of Mifflin, passed away Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

     Born June 22, 1941, in Burnham, she was the daughter of the late Charles “Red” and Loretta (Clinger) Wyland who lived in Milroy.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Dodson, and a granddaughter, Tara Dodson.

     She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald L. Dodson of Mifflin, three sons, Donald Dodson Jr. and wife, Zoe, Dale Dodson and wife, Cheryl, and Mike Dodson and wife, Lisa, three grandchildren, Dustin Dodson, Craig Dodson and Dwayne Leach, six great-grandchildren, Alivia, Logan, Sariah, Conner, Grace and Olivia, one sister, Donna Parks and one brother Eugene Wyland.

     She graduated from Kish High School in 1961

     Maggie enjoyed gardening, yardwork and being outside, but her family was the most important thing to her and she was a loving wife, mother, Gram, sister and friend.

     Following her wishes, the service will be private.
