Lois J. (Adams) Smith

     Lois J. Smith, 68, of McAlisterville, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.

     She was born March 24, 1953, in Lancaster.

     She is survived by one son, Lyle Brosey and wife, Debbie, of Casselberry, Fla., one daughter, Loretta Chance and husband, Vaughn of Riverview, Fla., one sister, Bonnie R. Becker and husband, Richard, of McAlisterville, one brother, Brian Adams and wife, Cathy, of York, and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and their families.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard C. and Vivian J. (DeRocco) Adams, two husbands, John Smith and Robert Mader and one brother, Craig Adams.

     In her early working life, Lois worked for Woodstream Corporation in Lititz.

     She was a member of First Baptist Church, Mifflintown.

     She loved buying and selling items at flea markets and yard sales and had a spot at Firehouse Consignment Sales in Selinsgrove.

     Her memorial service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Juniata County, 23964 Rte 35 N, Mifflintown, PA 17059.
