Lois J. Kauffman

     Lois J. Kauffman, 95, formerly of Mifflintown, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Locust Grove Retirement Village.

     Born October 24, 1926 in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late David Miles and Civilla (Groninger) Bender. Her husband, Robert Kauffman, passed away July 24, 1993.

     She is survived by three children, Keith Kauffman and wife, Kathy, of Mifflintown, Gayle Kauffman of York, and Greta Ingraham and husband, Robert, of Hershey, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles “Herb” Bender.

     Lois was a registered nurse.

     She enjoyed gardening and painting.

     Her service is private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
