Linda R. Showers

     Linda R. Showers, 81, of Northridge Personal Care, formerly of Port Royal, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

     Born June 26, 1943 in Mifflintown, she was the daughter of the late William D. and Anna Mae (Page) Showers. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Helen Page who raised her until she was twelve.

     She is survived by her special friends, Rick and Audrey Peters of Mifflintown and other cousins, friends and their families.

     Linda was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Mifflin.

     She enjoyed putting puzzles together, going out to eat, and especially spending time with Cousin Rick and Cousin Audrey. She considered everyone she met to be her friend and she touched many lives.

     There will be a viewing on Tuesday, April 22, at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dan Kerlin officiating. Interment will be in East Waterford Cemetery.
