Lillian V. (Tasker) Yohn

     Lillian V. Yohn, 103, of Port Royal, passed away Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown.

     She was born May 13, 1920 in Duncannon.

     She is survived by one son, Eugene L Yohn and wife, Ruby, of Port Royal, eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester E. Yohn on Oct. 1, 1981, her parents, Andrew and Mary Elizabeth (Belovic) Tasker, two daughters, Sheila Hayward and Brenda Snyder, and five siblings.

     Lillian was a member of the Port Royal United Methodist Church.

     She liked to shop and was a former quilting and painting 4-H leader. She had quite a talent for oil and watercolor painting and displayed her paintings at various art shows and entered them in the Beaver Fair and the Juniata Co. Fair where she won several awards, including best of show.

     Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 5 at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third Street, Mifflintown with Pastor Crystal Baumgardner officiating. Interment will be in Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.

     There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Thursday at the funeral home.
