Kerry H. Zook, 66, of East Waterford, formerly of Berks County, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, at his home.

     Born February 4, 1955, in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Melvin and Emily (Phenneger) Zook.

     He is survived by his wife, Charmaine L (Kucsan) Zook, whom he married Oct. 29, 2001, five brothers, Ronald Zook and wife, Fay, of Milan, Roy Zook and wife, Tiayese, of Schuylkill Haven, Kelvin Zook and wife, Pat, of Birdsboro, Nelson Zook and companion, Diane, of Pine Grove, and Joseph Zook, and wife, Sue, of Mifflintown, two sisters, Martha Stroud and husband, Bert, of Cornwall, Carol Filler and husband, Chuck, of Mifflintown, and a brother-in-law, John Werner.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John “Jack” Zook and a sister, Vera Werner.

     Kerry was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War from September 27, 1972 to June 6, 1975.

     He was retired, having worked 20 years in Manufacturing at Brushwellman in Reading and then in upstate New York as a school bus driver.

     He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and enjoying wildlife.

     There will be a viewing on Tuesday, Feb. 8, beginning at 10 a.m. with a funeral at 11 a.m. at Cedar Grove Brethren In Christ Church, 287 Deerville Road, Mifflintown, with Rev. Ken Hepner, officiating.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
