Kenneth Wilson “Ugh” Berrier, 57, of Mifflin entered into the arms of the Lord at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 at his home.
He was born June 10, 1964, in Lewistown.
He is survived by his mother, Mary (Strausburg) Burdge of Port Royal, his fiancé, Roseanna Sassaman, of Mifflin, four children, Christine Berrier and boyfriend, Kevin Kreider, Jr., of Richfield, Kimbra McAlister and husband, Steven, of Thompsontown, Tammy Berrier and fiancé, William Welch III, of Milroy, and Gerald James Berrier of Port Royal, four siblings, Melinda McLane and husband, Mickey, of Newalla, OK, Guss Berrier and companion, Cheryl Sullivan, of Lewistown, Deedee Miller and companion, Brian Casner, of Mifflintown, and Terre Grace and companion, Robert Laird, of Mifflin, 11 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald “Red Dog” Berrier, his step-father, Carl Burdge, his paternal grandparents, Sims and Cleona (Showers) Berrier, and his maternal grandparents, William and Florence (Hockenberry) Strausburg.
Ugh was a pipeliner who was a member of Local Union 158 for almost 40 years.
He attended Village Lighthouse Chapel and was a member of the Mifflintown American Legion.
He loved hauling junk and attending flea markets and yard sales. He and Rose stopped at the Bargain Barn several times every week. He was a collector of many things.
His funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Village Lighthouse Chapel, Blairs Mills, with Pastor Judy Rowles, officiating. Interment will be in East Waterford Cemetery.
There will be a viewing Monday, Dec. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, and on Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
Masks are required for everyone who attends any of the services.
