Kenneth 'Ken' D. Geesey, Jr.

     Kenneth D. “Ken” Geesey, Jr., 68, of Mifflintown, passed away Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

     Born Dec. 22, 1952, in Columbia, Pa., he is the son of Kenneth D. and Mary Jane (Yarnell) Geesey, Sr., of Marietta.

     In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Gwendolyn F. ”Gwen” (Bryan) Geesey, whom he married May 20, 1972, three daughters, Crystal Ranck and husband, Harold of Thompsontown, Nakia Spigelmeyer and husband, Shawn, of Elizabethtown, and Kennette Watson and husband, Mike, of Centre Hall, one sister, Sandra Haubert and husband, Drew, of Mount Joy, ten grandchildren, Cody, Kaci, and Cayden Ranck, Benjamin and Barrett Youtz, Isabella Spigelmeyer, Ty, Tripp, Tessa, and Taylinn Watson and four great-grandchildren, Braxton, Callonn, Nala, and Makyla.

     Ken proudly served his country in the United States Army.

     He was a pipe fitter until he was disabled.

     He enjoyed restoring old cars and motorcycles and attending motorcycle swap meets.

     He was a member of Thompsontown Baptist Church, Galeton V.F.W., and the Millerstown Moose.

     His greatest joy came from being with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

     A service to celebrate Ken’s life will be on Thursday, Nov. 18 at the Tuscarora Valley Heritage Days Building, 6201 Rt 75 S., East Waterford, PA 17021. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. until noon. A memorial service will be from 12 to 12:30. Immediately following the service, please join the family in a celebration of life meal.
