Kenneth “Ken” Robert Foltz, 75, of Mifflintown, passed away unexpectedly while he was hunting on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, in Milford Township, Juniata County.
Born June 4, 1946 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Robert and Florence (Nealman) Foltz.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Naylor) Foltz, whom he married on June 6, 1965, three children, Paula Kepner and husband Barry of Mifflintown, Kelley Bender and husband Ronald of Mifflintown, James Foltz and companion, Rachel Schreiber of Mifflin, one brother, Donald Foltz and wife, Gail, of Mifflintown, four grandchildren, Heather Lynch, Cody Leach, Morgan Foltz, and Tylor Foltz, and three great-grandchildren, Grant Lynch, Levi Lynch, and Brooke Lynch.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twin infant sons, and two sisters, Jane Zeiders, and Joyce Graybill.
He was a draftsman at Gannett Fleming, Camp Hill.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and in earlier years, playing guitar.
He was a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church and the Juniata County Trout Club.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 2 at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, with Rev. Richard Adams officiating. Interment will be in St. Stephen’s Lutheran Cemetery, Licking Creek Valley.
There will be a viewing from 9:30 until time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
