Kathryn R. (Robinson) Kell

     Kathryn R. Kell, 98, of Walnut, passed away on Monday, Sept. 21, 2020 at her home.

     Born April 28, 1922, in Walnut, she was a daughter of the late William K. and Marie A. (Henry) Robinson. Her husband, Paul L. Kell, whom she married June 10, 1943, died August 10, 2004.

     She is survived by one daughter, Deborah K. Thompson of Mifflin, five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Richard P. “Rick” Kell, three brothers, Robert Robinson, George Robinson, and Harold “Ham” Robinson, and two sisters, Jessie Moyer and Dorothy Shearer.

     Kathryn was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Nook, where she was very involved in the church and Sunday school. She was formerly active in the Beale Township Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and Walnut Grange.

     She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading, but her greatest joy came from being with her family whom she loved very much.

     Her graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Nook, 15275 Rt 35 S, Mifflin with Rev. Richard Adams officiating.
