Karl D. Zeiders, 88, of Denholm, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at Locust Grove Retirement Village.
Born June 28, 1932 in Licking Creek Valley, he was a son of the late Lloyd C. and Bardella (Beaston) Zeiders, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Darothea (Kennedy) Zeiders, whom he married Sept. 11, 1957, three sons, Colin Zeiders, Randy Zeiders, and Rodney Zeiders, all of Mifflintown, one step-daughter, Deborah Berry and husband, Carl, of East Waterford, two grandchildren, Christopher Berry and Cyris Zeiders, and two brothers, Richard Zeiders and Dale Zeiders and wife, Becky.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister, Robert Zeiders, Forest Neil Zeiders Sr., Lloyd Zeiders Jr., Melvin Zeiders, and Marie Geedey.
Karl was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a brakeman for the railroad.
He enjoyed hunting, bowling, playing horseshoes and buying and selling items at flea markets and yard sales.
His funeral service will be private at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown with Rev. Gary Krabill officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Mifflintown.
