Joseph "Joe" L. Leach

July 6, 1956 ~ March 31, 2022 (age 65)


     Joseph L. “Joe” Leach, 65, of Millville, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 at The Gardens at Millville.

     Born July 6, 1956 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Samuel Banks Leach Jr. and Barbara (Jones) Leach.

     He is survived by two children, Amanda Ziviello and Joseph Leach Jr, four grandchildren, and six siblings, Sharon G. Lane, Danny K. Leach, Marlin E. Leach, Michael C. Leach, Kathy A. Murphy, and Clifford S. Leach.

     He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Tracey A. Leach and Carl D. Leach.

     He was a veteran of the United States Army.

     When he lived in Florida, he worked as a chef.

     He enjoyed cooking and fishing. Joe was a very happy person who was loved by many.

     His funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 4, at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, with Earl “Petie” Weaver, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Academia Cemetery.

     There will be a viewing from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.

     The family wishes to thank all of the staff at the Gardens at Millville for their personal touches and the excellent care they gave to Joe.
