John Kachel Obituary
John O. Kachel, 45, of Honey Grove passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
He was born June 19, 1978 in Lancaster.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra (Feister) Harbaugh of Honey Grove, one son, Gaige Kachel and girlfriend, Kendra Palm, of Honey Grove, one sister, Alissa Kachel of New Cumberland, one step-sister, Amy Robinson of Mechanicsburg, and his dog, Irie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel H. Kachel, Jr., one brother, Mark Kachel, one sister, Karen Soulliard, and his step-father, Joseph Harbaugh.
John was a self-employed contractor who worked on construction. His most recent employment was with TeddWood.
He enjoyed hunting, playing pinochle, listening to music and playing his guitar.
His visitation will be on Saturday, April 6 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third Street, Mifflintown with a Celebration of Life service at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
