Jeffrey A. Beasom, 51, of McVeytown, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at his home.
Born June 10, 1973 in Lewistown, he is a son of Delores A. (Naylor) Beasom of Mifflin and the late Edward Bruce Beasom, Sr.
He is also survived by his wife, Jamie (France) Beasom, whom he married Aug. 12, 2017, five children, Brittany Bailer and husband, Juan, of Mifflin, Levi Beasom of Mifflintown, Claudia Beasom and fiancé, Nathan Kauffman, of McClure, and Shailynn Duffy and Aleah Duffy, both of McVeytown, one sister, Yvonne McIlhenny and husband, Ted, of Mifflintown, one grandson, two grandchildren on the way, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Beasom and Edward “Peanut” Beasom, Jr.
He graduated from Juniata High School in 1991 and worked at various jobs, his most recent employment as a truck driver for Class 1 Transport, McVeytown.
He loved John Deere equipment, riding his Harley, dirt track racing, hunting, and driving truck.
There will be a viewing on Saturday, June 22, beginning at 10 a.m. with a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown.
