Jacqueline "Jackie" Lee Swartwood

     Jacqueline Lee “Jackie” Swartwood, 41, of East Waterford, passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2022, in Snyder Co.

     Born Jan. 23, 1981 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of Dorothy Jane (Lehman) Gilliland of Mifflintown, and the late Robert Wesley Gilliland.

     She is also survived by her husband, Edward Lee Swartwood, whom she married Sept. 18, 2004, two sons, Logan Wesley Swartwood and Blake Edward Swartwood, three siblings, Mary Fisher and husband, Brett, Richard Fisher and wife, Kim, and Nevin Fisher and wife, Beth, her parents-in-law, Carl Edward and Vickie Ann Swartwood, her brother-in-law, Andrew Lee Swartwood, and many nieces and nephews and their families.

     Jackie graduated from The Academy and worked as a registered medical assistant at Family Practice Center, Mifflintown.

     She enjoyed riding motorcycle, crafting, shopping, going to the beach and loved Florida, but her greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family, especially with her boys.

     There will be a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, at the Port Royal Community Building with Pastor Bob Landis officiating. Please bring your pictures to share your memories at the service.

     Interment will be at the convenience of the family at New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal, with Rev. Charlie McKee officiating. There will be no viewing.

     In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Jackie to the Jackie Swartwood Memorial under Richard Fisher at any branch of the Juniata Valley Bank.
