Gloria J. Varner, 70, of Mifflintown, passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2020 at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
Born June 13, 1950, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Forest S. and Ruth E. (Kraemer) Varner, Sr.
She is survived by three siblings, Forest S. Varner, Jr. of McAlisterville, Ruthann M. and husband, James E. Gill, Jr. of Tylersburg, and Robert L. Varner and wife, Glenda, of Milroy and many nieces and nephews.
Gloria graduated from Juniata High School and worked as a seamstress at Lyon Fashions, Juniata Garment, and Corvette America.
She attended Lighthouse Community Church, Mifflintown, and Mexico Full Gospel Mission.
She enjoyed putting puzzles together, playing the piano, and singing. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Her graveside service and interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown, with the Rev. Jeffrey A. Henry, officiating. Please bring a chair if you would like to sit at the service.
There will be no viewing.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at a later time.
